WCS growing in agression

Hi, my partner has a working cocker spaniel (nearly 2) and I have a Saluqi, 10 months. They've always got along fine and the wcs is your typical spaniel, but recently he has started to get aggressive. He is also getting really, really clingy, more than I think is normal.

He pins down other dogs when out with the dog walker and has started to go for my dog.

The other day it seemed like he was waiting to pounce on me but thought he had got confused. But today it was clearly me he was after. My dog at the top of the path, wcs half way and as I came toward him he left at me then turned to chase down the hound. Who always gets away.

I've always been around, been with my partner years, this isn't a new relationship, I don't think it's a dominance thing but I'm worried it's going to continue to escalate. Any suggestions I could look at?

Thank you.

A change in behaviour with no obvious cause is always a trip to the vet as a first step.

Has he been checked by a vet?
