Are there any dog car seats that has 2 fittings for 2 dogs?!

Small breeds, easily fit into a dog car seat, but they only come with one hook…. How do you make it so you can hook 2 dogs onto the own hook?! I can see you can get those adapters so you only use one seat belt clip and it splits into two clips so you can attach to 2 dogs but I want to be able to clip them both into the car seat clip, is there a way??

You can get double ones that fit round the headrest and clip onto their harnesses, i find these better than seat belt ones but also you could just buy 2 seat belt clips and just clip them in separately. Amazon do loads of options.

I have seen those… but they could jump out of the car seat with those? I want to be able to anchor them to the one that is at the base of the car seat?

Train your dogs not to jump out. That's what I have done with mine for the last thirty-odd years. But I can't see how they would do that tethered to the inside of the car, as the attachments are only nine inches long.

You can also get ones that clip to the isofix which are good, I have a large dog so I use that for him (its also chew proof), when he is fully grown I am guessing he will need to go in the boot in a crate though.

@Spanielsarepainless they aren’t my dogs, I look after them regularly…. They are small breed so even 9 inches from the head rest would mean they’d be able to get out the seat and onto my car seats which I don’t want. @PugInTheHouse do you mean dog car seats that go on the isofix?

@Justthinkin no just the ones that clip to harnesses but you may be able to loop it through whatever fixing is on the car seat. I don't bother with a car seat for my pug, he just sits next to it but to be honest as long as the belt is short enough the car seats aren't particularly safer than just on the seats.

Also I have a seat cover that the pug sits on, it's brilliant, just velcros round the headrest and is pretty heavy duty.
