very old dog 15 has been a bit wobbly on her back legs for ages not on pain and still loves a walk .
we are going on holiday soon and have a sitter staying with her but i keep thinking i should get a once over from the vet before we head off.
DH says she's been like this for ages and very happily mooches around the garden eats well etc and that the vets will definitely find something wrong with her .
what would you do?

You need to take your old and poorly dog to the vet. It may not be pain. Equally, it may - dogs are very good at hiding it.

It may also just be simple aging.

Either way, you need to know so, if anything can be done, your dog gets the care she needs.

She may need some painkillers if she is stiff-ddog is 13 with multiple ailments but she has had bad back legs and arthritis in them.you’d never know to look at her most days.Dogs hide pain really well.At that she is rather she had some pain relief every day than just do nothing and hope for the best

I’d take her to the vet. If the vets do find something you can choose wether to manage it or let her potter on as normal. If they don’t find anything then no harm done
