Stradpup was spayed 12 days ago, she’s recovered well, signed off by the vet’s yesterday. We’re having a bit of a nightmare with two things:
- she’s become quite aggressive to us in the evenings - starts with some zoomies but ends up with barking and snapping ☹️
- her sleep has been disturbed since her first season a few months ago, but since the op it’s got really bad, we’ve been on the sofa nearly every night next to her because otherwise she cries and barks.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Will this settle down or do we need to get some help? We’re doing our best to be calm and consistent, short walks are now back on the agenda so hopefully more exercise will also help? Any tips? Thanks in advance more experienced dog owners!
