Has anyone else's dog just Had Enough of this weather?

Ddog is so miserable bless her. She's happy on her very early and very late walks, and eating her breakfast and tea fine, but in between she's just lying on the sofa looking so fed up. Can't even tempt her off it with food which is unheard of! Usually if its warm she potters in and out of the garden to sunbathe then go back in when she's had enough but not this week. Feeling so sorry for her 😞

Nope. Mine are slightly less supercharged than normal, but they went running with DH early this morning and are currently lying staring at me in full Jedi mind-game mode because I'm waiting until it suits me before I take them out.

Mine is OK. I walk depending on temperature if its 20c or less which is very late at night I take him out. I bought an air conditioner unit a few years ago and if the house gets too hot I put it on.

Are you sure she's miserable, is she awake and whining when on the sofa? Perhaps a fan in front of her would help.

I think it's normal for dogs to mostly sleep when it's hot. Mine enjoys his early and late walks, eats as usual, and the rest of the time is stretched out on the sofa, fan on the floor pointed up at him, fast asleep.
I'd love to have the same daily routine in this weather!

We're in Cumbria so it's not that hot but he is noticeably less energetic than usual 🤣

Yes mine definitely have less energy , big dog not enjoying this heat at all he is living on his bed under the trees in the shade only venturing out to the paddling pool and his water . Little dog is a sloth by day but finds some energy to play about 6pm. I'm almost but not quite fed up yet .

It’s bloody freezing here today 🙈. Our dog is black so doesn’t fare well in even 20 degree heat but I’ve managed to get him out twice a day in the morning and evening. He has a paddling pool to keep him cool and wear him out a bit.

Yep mine wants to go for a walk but I know if I did, he would just lie down and pant so don't unless very early or late. The other night, he a usal very good sleeper, was up all night and had to take him out at 3 am and he almost ate a frog and then we had a a 4 am as well, diarrhea, not sure if he's eating something or if it's the heat

Our two are doing ok, luckily they both had haircuts last week and they both have a cooling mat to lie on and a fan on their level. They are just not eating a much.

Is anyone else’s pup barely eating? I’d say ours is on day 4 of eating about 1/3 of her usual amount and that’s with me pampering her by adding chees, yoghurt, all sorts and virtually hand feeding her 🤦‍♀️ I have to feed her ice cubes too or she’d not drink. She seems well, but just totally off any kind of nourishment!

Mine used to like having a wet tea towel on his back in hot weather. Ice cream and watermelon went down well too.

Update: I took her to the vet yesterday after reading the first few replies as it seemed like perhaps she was more 'off' than others' dogs. Poor little bugger has got an ear infection, but with none of the usual signs (she's prone to them but usually she paws at her ears / shakes her head or you can see some signs of inflammation). If it hadn't been hot I would have spotted it sooner I think but I was putting her behaviour down to the weather. We have steroids and antibiotic drops and she's already a bit brighter. So glad I posted now!
