Odd question perhaps and I don't mean to play 😂 but my dog (frenchie) seems to be really anxious whenever it's on. I only really watch Wimbledon, but I really love it.
Anyway, noticed she in a cycle of hiding, shaking and being extra clingy. Was worried she was ill, so took her to the vets, but all good. Then I suddenly noticed a couple of days ago that it's only when the tennis is on. I'm not massively vocal when I watch it, but I guess occasionally I'll get excited or frustrated. I think it's mostly the clapping from the crowd that she doesn't like.
Just had it on again as she was away in the kitchen, but then she comes in, jumps on my lap and starts shaking again. Put it on mute and she stared at the TV and then stopped completely.
I know her breed are known for being anxious, but generally speaking, she isn't.
Does this sound familiar to anyone else? Seems like an unusual trigger.
