I would really like a cat but I have two dogs already . Is it a non starter to introduce a cat if the dogs are not familiar with them .

kitten possibly, cat no unless used to dogs

Saying that what kind of dogs do you have?

I wouldn't introduce an adult cat to two dogs, but I think you should be fine with a kitten if you things properly and make sure the kittens have plenty of space away from the dog.

We got two cats first, then introduced a puppy when they were 2 and 3. They're now 6 and 7, the puppy is four, and the latest kitten is two!

I have a Labrador and a french bulldog , ages are 5 and 22mths. Both are very loveable not generally bothered by small furries eg squirrels.

I'd like a kitten ,a british shorthair, it sounds like you have integrated them really well .
