Does this vaccination schedule sound right?

Our puppy had the Lepto L4 and DHP vaccinations on the 23rd June.

The puppy contract says she's due to have her second lot by the 7th July.

Our vet has scheduled her in for the 27th July. By this time she'll be thwelve weeks

She'll be 12 weeks by the time she's had her second lot, and then 14 by the time she can properly go out for a walk. This seems really late - everything I read talks about how she needs to be out for walks and getting socialised.

Does this schedule sound right? I'm worried that there's such a conflict in the date advised by the initial vet, and the ones we're booked in with.

You don't need to wait two weeks after the second lot of jabs before they can walk - we certainly never did.

And you can do loads of socialisation without putting your puppy on the floor, so don't worry about that. Take them around in a sling, use a backpack and just let them experience the world. Take them out in the car, on a bus, on a train - take them with you to cafés and parks and just let them hear all the sights and sounds. Sit with them in the boot of the car or on a bench and let them see people, bikes, cars, tractors, motorcyles...

I'm sure the guidelines are 4 weeks between L4 vaccinations.

It’s four weeks between the L4 vaccines. It used to be two weeks when the commonly used vaccine was L2. Maybe the contract hasn’t been updated.
