Hi,
Has anyone had experience with this condition.
My pup unfortunately developed this last week.
The vet has said I have two options,
first being to have it cut out completely, but risk him getting dry eye and needing eye drops for life.
Second being having it tucked back in, and risk it popping back out.
Neither option sounds ideal.
It's pretty large and he's on steroid drops and anti-inflammatory meds so leaving it isn't an option.

How old is puppy? What breed? Have you spoken to breeder for advice at all?

He's almost 7 months now, he's a complete mongrel but has a bit of pug in there somewhere.
The vets said I was unlucky, as he doesn't really have a flat face and his eyes aren't prominent.
My vet can't do the tucking back in op, so I'm waiting for a referral to a specialist.
I am just unsure what's the best option is.
