Shedding Winter coat....

Our 10 mo Chocolate Lab is very slowly shedding his Winter coat.
He looks like he has mange at the moment 😂
He’s not keen on being brushed....can anyone recommend a good dog brush which would help remove the fur quickly?

Get a rake brush. They will get out the undercoat really easily - it is very satisfying.

If your dog does not like being brushed get a licky mat - yu can get one with sticky fix on the back and stick it to a door and then brush as he is licking the mat.

Gradually build up the length of time he can tolerate it.

Many people will recommend a ferminator but personally I dont like them as they cut the hair.

I used a rake brush on my malamute yesterday for the first time, it was amazing and so much came out. It has made a huge difference as nowhere near as much on the carpet today.

We use a Groomi, and find it awesome. My dog likes it, thinks she's getting an extra long stroke.

Oh I have a terrible shedding lab and an ancient jack Russel. My house was like a fur palace Envy

Bought so many brushes, but bought one off Amazon a few weeks ago which is amazing. It's a rake brush like PPs have said, and has about 5k 5 star reviews on Amazon. Hang on let me find it won't be a sec

Try a blower far easier. I used one on my malamute and huskies. Pick a windy day and do it in the garden. Less hair in the home.

Thanks @Sitdowncupoftea will give that a go
