Spaniel energy

Hi all

We have a lovely 6 year old spaniel who, like most spaniels, has all the energy in the world!

I just wondered if anyones spaniels calmed as they got older and if so, what age?

Only out of curiosity! He is lovely 😊

Mine has and is 6 this year but unfortunately I am starting to think it might be because that he is in a bit of pain (long story and seeing vets at the moment).

However despite that he still goes crashing through the forest after those pesky squirrels.

I think that's the beauty of spaniels is that they never grow up 😁

Ours is nine and shows no sign of slowing down!

We still get told 'what a lovely puppy' except he is not a puppy 😂

Ours is eighteen this year, we believe. Still has mad moments.
