Lickimat

Both my dogs love their lickimats but our bigger pup bites off big chunks off the normal lickimats in seconds. We bought one of the Tuff series ones but they can still be chewed a bit but it is so hard to spread stuff onto them so not the same.

Has anyone found any other brands that are safer for chewers?

They shouldn’t be chewing the lick matt
its for licking then being taken away
I’d try filling a kong instead they can kick and chew that without taking chunks

If your dog is a chewer then don't give them lickimats unless you're right there to remove it.

I would try stuffed, frozen kongs or natural chews instead.

As soon as I realised e was chewing it I removed it and we got him the tuff series, he can't chew bits off it but still tries to chew it, he does lick it also but seems to get distracted. The next time he grabbed our other dogs one and bit a chunk off again so obviously we don't let him near the ordinary one now and remove immediately if he tries.

I think I will have to keep them separated when our small dog has his and give big pup a Kong then. Thank you
