Can’t get recovery suit fastened

Our pup has been spayed this morning, my husband took her out for a wee and now she won’t let us anywhere near the recovery suit to fasten it back together. She’s VERY angry!

We don’t want to distress her further trying to get it back together but also don’t want it flapping all over the shop, useless!

Normal tactics aren’t working, any advice?

We had a similar issue- just left it open (the wound was covered) then fastened the flaps out of the way (but not fastened together- if that makes sense!) to stop them dragging around.
Just made sure then wound was covered. Got it fastened back after a couple of days when ddog was less angry/ in less pain.
