Water bowl recommendations

I used to have road refresher no-spill bowls, then wanted to avoid plastic, except when travelling, so had a large Mason Cash ceramic bowl. Just been reading that ceramic bowls harbour the most bacteria, so have been looking for a sturdy stainless steel bowl instead.

I like the Yeti bowls, but £40 ish for a dog bowl is ridiculous and according to reviews, the cheaper versions slide around easily.

I did find one stainless steel no-spill bowl, but it has terrible reviews.

Can anyone recommend a decently heavy water bowl? It’s for a toy breed, so I can’t rely on the weight of water in a standard stainless steel bowl to stop it being tipped.

Is this a thing? My dog will only drink out of a bucket outside, or the cat's tiny little dish. Grin

Probably not. It’s not something that keeps me up at night and all my previous dogs have had whichever bowl we already had and been fine. I’m just investing in new kit as we’re going from having large dogs to a toy breed, so I thought I’d ask what others have.

Knowing all our old stuff was too big, I donated it to a local rescue and have been saving up for a while so I can splash out (excuse the pun) a bit more than I usually would for this sort of thing too.
