My darling boy died today

He was only 7. It was bastard cancer. He did really well on chemotherapy for five months after diagnosis but at 2.30am this morning I knew it was time to call the emergency vet.
She was kind and he passed so peacefully but my heart is breaking.

We have lost a few dogs & cats to cancer over the years, it never gets any easier, my heart goes out to you op, it’s devastating!

You are all so kind.

I am so sorry, I lost a Sheltie a few years ago to cancer at the age of 4. It was awful, they leave such a hole these much loved pets.

Make sure you look after yourself.

I just wanted to say, I've never owned a dog, but I can understand that he was your special companion, and you must miss him terribly. I'm sure that you gave him a wonderful life, and I hope that he died peacefully with you by his side. Much love 💐
