Puppy ate potato

10 week old puppy ate some of a seedling potato. Cue diarhea. Vet says bland diet and watch out in case he gets worse. Anyone had this happen and how long did it last/ how many times will I have to get up tonight??

I've never had it happen to me, but most cases of diarrhoea generally resolve themselves within 24-48 hours.

When mine ate something he shouldn't as a puppy, he had us up every two hours in the night, but other times he's been unwell once and that's been it, so it's really just luck - and it depends how much he ate.

Hopefully he'll be on the mend soon!
