I cut a buster collar lampshade down and duct taped it back together to make it a more secure fit around a skinny neck. Then improvised with garden string and a hole punch to secure to a narrow collar, which I leave on the buster collar. It doesn't look terribly smart but will do the job. The most important thing is to keep the length of the collar; those interfering busy body pointy noses can get everywhere
