Addison’s disease

Does anyone have any experience of Addison’s in dogs? Our 8 year old male podengo may have it, just wondering how it may affect his quality of life/life expectancy

Sadly we lost him last Friday. The vet thinks the addisons symptoms were secondary to something else, he went down very quickly, his breathing was very laboured, he became very weak, swaying and stumbling and unable to stand or sit, incontinent and he didn’t respond to any treatment.
