On my breed relevant group, someone posted about an incident that happened local to them.

Their dog had gone missing. He was found dead in someone’s garden, with the head and tail removed.

Poor pup

I read about that on facebook, it's absolutely terrible and horrific

BurgerKingAddict · 10/03/2022 13:51

What the hell. Why would anyone do this? Sad

MimosaPiqueNique · 10/03/2022 13:53

That is really upsetting.

HeadacheGrey · 10/03/2022 13:55

Oh my god. What the hell?!!!

Soubriquet · 10/03/2022 13:55

I should message MNHQ and ask for a trigger warning. Sorry about that

But yes it’s awful. I hope they find out who did it and they rot in hell

Do we know this definitely happened?
If it was FB there is always all kinds of bizarre claims on there

BurgerKingAddict · 10/03/2022 14:47

So it’s just a random attack?

Soubriquet · 10/03/2022 16:11

I can’t verify it isn’t true or not, but all the comments on the pictures indicate that it is.

And yes, it looks like a random attack. I don’t know if the dog escaped and someone found him and decided go be opportunistic, or if he was stolen from the garden.

What the fuck? If someone is capable of harming an animal to that extent, they are capable of doing it to a person. I'm not a dog owner and I'm sickened by that.

Soubriquet · 10/03/2022 16:18

I just hope the poor pooch was already dead before he was dismembered

AlmostMaybe · 10/03/2022 22:11

That’s horrific. Poor little dog. And their owners.

I hope whoever has done this is found quickly and has the shit kicked out of them

Nikki037297 · 11/03/2022 14:05

That is really disturbing for the family!! And the person who did that is obviously very sick in the head to even considering doing that to some defenceless animal! I can’t even imagine what the poor dog suffered but I hope they find who did that because I was watching a serial killer documentary and they said serial killers usually start by hurting and killing animals then move onto children and people. So this person is a very sick individual who needs caught
