Pet sitters charges

How much do you pay for a pet sitter to look after your dog(s) in your home, per 24 hour periods? And do you pay for their travel charges to and from your place? What about food? If you have multiple dogs/pets, do they charge additionally? We are based in Berkshire. Thank you.

Hi OP, I'm a dog sitter so hopefully I can help a little. I'm in Cumbria though :)

I charge £35 per night for one dog (or pet), plus £5 for each additional animal in the house. So, two dogs would be £40, three would be £45 etc.
That price includes all my travel and one hour's worth of walks for dogs - either all at once or split up.
If the owner wants more walks, they have to pay my hourly rate which is £10 for one dog for an hour, plus £7 for any other dogs.

I'm happy to provide my own food but most owners will say to eat what's in the fridge/freezer/cupboards and often provide me with basics like milk, bread, tea, coffee and sugar.

I have to be able to leave the animals during the day so I can continue doing my regular dog walks and look after my own animals. If the owners aren't happy with that, I would direct them to a home boarder instead :)
