Reactive to other dogs on the street

My dog is almost 2 years old. Over the past couple of months he's become very reactive to the other dogs who live on our cul-de-sac. He barks and lunges every time he sees one. There are 5 dogs in total, different breeds and sizes who live at different houses on the street. He barks like crazy when they walk past the window, if he's in another room it's like he can sense they're on their way past and darts to the window, even when the blinds are closed. When we pass them on walks he goes bonkers. The other dogs don't react to him at all which makes it more embarrassing.

The strange thing is, he doesn't do this with other dogs. At the park or on other walks he's a friendly dog and doesn't bark at other dogs.

I've tried distracting with high value treats, getting him to sit and getting between his eyeline and other 'street' dogs but he just becomes obsessed with the other dogs.

How do I train him out of this please?

Sounds like he's guarding the house to me

My dog started acting like this when we moved. we haven’t quite got it under control yet, but I’ve found no access to the windows for now is helping my own sanity! Ddog must also now wait for permission to come in and out the house, and he can only do so when he’s calm. That seems to have helped him stay a bit calmer

He's protecting his home.

I'm lazy and just use window film on the glass so mine can't see outside, lol.
