Can she be on heat without bleeding?

Pup is 9 months old, crazy as anything, but the last few days really really sleepy and cuddly, I've looked at her and can't see that her vulva is particularly red or swollen (tbh never inspected it before so not sure really on the size!) but no blood. But when I pat/scratch near her tail it definitely goes to one side (again, never tried this before so not sure if normal!)
She's also off her food but is coming to the end of a course of antibiotics so wondered if they were to blame.

No idea, but my dog is not sleepy or cuddly when in heat. In fact it's the only time she is a bit naughty. She pees a lot more than usual and is quite frisky, and definitely spots, specially where she sleeps.

When my pup had her first season she seemed a bit off before hand, her vulva was very swollen and I found the odd spot of blood. After about a week of this she was in full blown season and spooting more. Maybe it's just the start of it.

Normally the vulva can be seen from space! My pup's was massive and she's only a small mini poodle. So I'd say that your dog is most likely not in heat.

There is a "silent" heat.

Otherwise I'd say, there can be 101 reasons fer her to feel slightly off and tired.

Hmm maybe if she’s not bounced back tomorrow I’ll call the vet. She’s just very sleepy and a more on edge than usual - lots of sleep startle - but vulva still looks normal and no sign of blood…
