Hi, my lovely little 11 month old is now terrified of me. I Sang the adams family tune and for some reason she's terrified. How can u get her trust back. We had her since 8 weeks. Is this unusual?

Grin. Sorry - no help Grin

You must be a really bad singer op!
Just be calm and quiet and she'll come back around. Having food will probably help!

I wouldn’t worry to much, just offer lots of treats and go slowly- mine ran into an electric fence and got caught when he was a puppy and totally spooked for a little while but 8 years on and he still loves me (I think!) Maybe avoid singing the adams family for a while though just to be sure Grin

Did you do the bit where you snap your fingers? Because that would make much more sense
bellalou1234 · 04/03/2022 14:23

Ha no clicking of my fingers..she's come round now.. but I live in fear of singing a tune she doesn't like..

If you were loud and she's not used to that, that could be the problem.

I frightened my pup by getting the ironing board and iron out the other day. Vacuum cleaner, washing machine, dishwasher - no problem, but this 'thing' that came out of the cupboard and sat menacingly in the room absolutely terrified him. I mean, it's totally silent,,isn't it? It never occurred to me he wouldn't like it. I them realised that, having had him since last July, this is the first time in that period that I have actually needed to iron something!
