Dog won’t wee!

Any ideas how I can get her to go?

She’s been a two wees a day max dog for the past six months or so. Sometimes once if it’s rainy 🙄

But she hasn’t been now since Sunday evening. She was spayed yesterday (laprascopic spay), didn’t go before surgery and hasn’t since.

I have taken her into the garden numerous times and she just shows no interest in going. She’s eating fine and I’ve given her extra fluids.

At what point do I worry?

I think the answer is probably 'now'. Sorry. Call your vet for advice, IANAV, but that seems a long time without a wee, unless she has snuck one out without you knowing.

I feel your pain, mine is infrequent in her ablutions and can hold it for 12 hours if she isn't at home. Useful overnight, not so useful when you're on holiday or visiting family.....

Even in dogs that don’t wee often that is a long time to go without passing urine.

Given she was spayed yesterday I would call the vet for advice asap.
