Which name?

We are getting our new pup tomorrow, but there are some heated discussions in the household (me, DH and 15yo DD) about her name!

DH likes Mabel. DD likes Bessie. I like both those names but have an idea that her name should be Mushroom, which is not exactly hated by the others. What do you think?

For background, the puppy is a mongrel and we already have a mongrel with a similar breed mix named Maud.

Personally I’d call her Mavis but out of the names you have listed it has to be Mabel. Mushroom is a close second. She’s definitely not a Bessie though

Mushroom. I don't like Bessie and I think Mabel will raise in popularity because it's the name of one of Andrew Cotter's labs.

Mabel definitely, I do know 2 but it's not a name I hear called out every day so I don't think it matters.

I'd go for Margo ( or Margaux ?)

I love Mushroom but then again I did call my dog Pistachio
