I think it's time to let her go and I'm heartbroken

My beautiful Molly is nearly 11 and has been struggling with arthritis. The last wee while her back leg has got worse and I had to carry her downstairs today.
She's been crying and moving about a lot, even though she can't put her foot down. She still eats but sits on the floor while I hold the dish up.
DH is phoning a vet who comes out to the house to put them sleep.
I keep thinking what if I'm making a mistake but in my heart I know I'm not, she has no quality of life now and just seems done in.
I'm just so sad.

It's 2 years today since we lost our beautiful girl.
Ime it is way the hardest part of having a ddog.
It is the greatest gift to give though op.
Our ddog went in the most calm and peaceful way. Sedated with just me and dh. No vet to be seen after that quick jab on the leg.
. And we had ages with her afterwards

My girl.

11 years of unconditional love, good walks, silly moments, wet noses, soulful eyes. You are giving back some of that by making her end of life comfortable and pain free. It is what she deserves.
