Dog obsessed with licking DC's feet!!

I have a 10 year old chihuahua he wasn't to keen on the kids at first but now as they have got older he is obsessed. He licks at there feet constantly I have to keep telling him to stop even though the kids love it

He's not interested in me or OH's feet just the kids. Any idea why he is doing this?

I guess he just prefers their scent and flavour It could also be how the DC react eg if they giggle and enjoy it your dog will understand this and do it more.

Are they barefooted? Maybe their shoes are leather for example and leave a nicer smell than yours. Could be their feet are more accessible eg hang off their chairs and yours are on the floor.

We will never know but dogs usually lick things that to them smell and taste nice but I am making no aspertions re your and your dc feet
