New name for rescue dog.

I need a new name for my rescue dog, as his given name is the same as my son’s!

He’s small, white, three legged, and his current name ends in a y.

It might be easier to re-name your DS!

The dog is going to hear his name every day, and it'll be much harder to rename in those circs

If not: Bob, Kevin, Dave, Phydeau (sorry), Oliver, Rocco, Chip, Peanut, Waffle

He looks like my BIL beddlypoo and he's called Joey which suits him

My dog is called Benji but I also liked Teddy

Is he currently Alfie? You could call him Ralphie. We did similar with our cat, her name now is similar enough that it has broadly the same sounds, but it is much nicer. She came to us direct from a family at three, so we know she hadn’t been a stray named by a rescue.

Or if you want a 'tri' name, then Trigger, Trickie Dickie, Trigo, Tristan/Tris

Nah, he'll be fine! They don't see their name as their identity, like we do. It's pretty much just 'Noise humans make just before they do something to me'.
