We had a samoyed that looked just like that when I was young. Have to be honest, it was an absolute pain. The coat care and amount of exercise exhausted mum.
Hair everywhere all the time and he didn't particularly like being indoors as it was too warm. He was purchased by the man that mum was, briefly, married to for 9 months and he left him when he fucked off.
Mum, eventually, had to rehome him through a breed specialist charity, with a family who lived rural and already had one. He had a couple of acres to roam. He was so much happier in his new home and we stayed in touch until the dog died.
Mum felt guilty about it until she died. I have a working cocker and she is far less work than that samoyed was.
Fwiw, my dp said no second dog and then the rescue we fostered for got a 10 weeks old puppy in as she was too timid for the family who bought her. We took her in as a 'foster'. She is still here 8 months later, the adoption paper work was done quietly and dp just accepted she was staying 🤣
