Car crates

Hey

I am picking up a new car this week and need to get a car crate to stop the dogs wrecking another car 🙃 the car is a defender if that's relevant and I would rather crash tested crates if possible.

I have two large ish dogs under 30kg

Any recommendations or comments on the following crates?

Lintran
DTboxes
TransK9
Mimsafe

Thanks 😊

Lintran are not independently crash tested - in fact I dont think they are crashed tested at all. They used to say no dog had died in a crash in them so I would not use them

DT boxes are quite light and I think only tested on speed not impact.

Transk9 I use these and they have been in a mega crash (obviously replaced them afterwards) They are speed tested and impact tested .

Mimsafe are the other ones I would consider but they did not fit into our van as well as Trans K9

We do have Trans K9 double cage fitted into our Defender with a drawer underneath which is fab for keeping everything tidy and organised (which I love) even if muddy!

TransK9 are crash-tested and generally really good quality I think.

Thanks so much @PollyRoulllson & @fairylightsandwaxmelts. I really like that there is an escape hatch on the transk9 one. It's currently showing out of stock so I'll give them a call. 😊
