Cut on paw

My dog went to the groomers yesterday and the groomer must have caught her paw as since she got home she was licking a paw and when I eventually got to look at it, it was red and looks like a small cut in between the paw pads. Is there anything I should be putting on it or doing besides stopping her licking it?

My dog stood of glass between Christmas and New Year. We video called the vet our insurance company offer who recommended soaking in Epsom Salts and using colloidal silver cream. We didn't have any silver cream (but have now) so soaked in epsom salts daily. It healed quickly but just make sure you keep an eye out for signs of infection and wash after walks.

Leucellin (as linked above) is good but if you have any, manuka honey is fab for cleaning cut paws.

@fairylightsandwaxmelts I did think of honey but I think that would encourage her to lick the paw even more!

Yes, that's the risk

You can use honey and then wrap it with bandage etc, or use a buster collar to stop him being able to get to the paw at all.
