Raw beef mince question

duvetdrama · 16/01/2022 13:45

My dog eats Natures Menu raw beef mince from the pet shop, all good except I can't get any in store and she's running low. I'm assuming Tesco's frozen beef mince will just be the same? Is there anything obvious I'm missing does anyone know??

As long as it is 100% beef mince with nothing added it will be fine.

@Mamamia7962 thanks, that's what I thought. Was just doubting myself!

It won't have the bone or offal % but as long as its not the entire time it'll be fine.

Presumably the Natures Menu beef is a “complete” food? So will have proper balance of calcium/phosphorus etc?
Supermarket beef will not have any bone, nor offal, so is only suitable for adding to other stuff, though ok for just the odd day or so. I would also prefer to freeze it first just in case, and I think some supermarket meat has salt water added - no prob for a day or so, but not as a long term food.
