Toys that keep your puppy/dog occupied

Our Lab is 6 months old and, most of the time, is a dream pup.

But after walking him (although maybe I need to increase this to 2 walks a day?) and playing with him, he still stands and looks at me with his big eyes as if to say, What’s next Mum?!

What toys, not edible ones, can anyone recommend to keep him busy for more than 5 minutes?
I work from home and also have all the usual housework tasks to complete.

Bit of training used to knacker ours.

Treats wrapped in newspaper in a box or in egg boxes. Snuffle mats.

also, they need to be ignored sometimes. Yakkers.

I am having similar issues with my nearly 5 month whippet. She thinks if she is not sleeping or on a walk she should be continually entertained. If not she finds her own entertainment which is not good. Luckimats last her about 2 minutes. Anything that lasts more than 5 minutes is boring. She likes dog games but the very hardest ones take her about 7 minutes..and she is bored by then anyway. It is exhausting.. she has 3 walks a day now 2 x 20 mins, 1 x 30 ish mins to try and keep her nap schedule in order. She never knows she needs a nap she just gets bitey and silly so goes in crate with a kong and usually crashes out. If she isn't tired and we try this we know about it very quickly .
