Spay Recovery

Our adopted girl, terrier breed, is being spayed next week.
She's just turned 4 and has had two litters.
I've looked after boys after neutering but wondering if anyone has any advice?

We put our most recent spayee in a bodysuit (supplied by the vet) which was much nicer for her and everyone than a cone of shame.

I've had two bitches spayed and both recovered really quickly. The JRT was convinced that she was back to normal the next day. The hard thing is keeping them on the lead when they are desparate for a run.

Oh, and lay in a light meal cooked chicken'n'rice for when the invalid gets home.

Terrier? I anticipate you have at most 12 hours of subdued dog until you hit the 'Noooo! The vet said you mustn't...' stage of recovery.

She'll be fine. They bounce extraordinarily quickly.
