Had a lab with it. She had Cobalamin injections and powder of pancreatic enzymes added to her food.

We then started to add in raw pancreas and she stopped the enzymes - she lived until she was 14.

She slowly put on weight but did need the regular Cobalamin injections to keep the weight on.

From our experience once you find a food that works do not change it - stick with it and do not listen to other people advice on what worked for their dog with a dodgy tum!

Ours had Hills ID to start with and this worked for a long time - then she got poorly again and we moved to Purina HA. I generally raw feed my dogs so this, I feel was a deliberate rebellion on my dogs behalf! However it was the only food she could eat and she did really well on it - the traitor Smile

Thank you very much for your informative reply.my collie girl has blood test tomorrow,I am pretty sure she nas EPI.at the moment I feed her Canagan, but I will listen to what vet recommends.I can imagine, chopping and changing diet is not good(well not for any dog really).

@Thatldo did you get the EPI diagnosis, and how is your dog doing?

I have a collie cross who seems to have all the symptoms. Blood tests due back end of the week...
