Just heartbreaking how some people are so irresponsible

This. Just makes me angry/sad/despairing.... how much did they pay for a french bulldog less than 1 year ago? Why did they not insure her or spey her? Then take her to the vets and tell them to kill her because it was too expensive to treat her - just what is wrong with people.
What a terrible world we live in.

The article doesn't tell us what the operation was for. I suspect irresponsible breeding. Which means puppies could have same problems....
Also, it's well known in the dog world that frenchies can only give birth by c-section.

This is heart breaking on so many levels.
But I am not sure if I would support the charity in this case. (Unpopular, I know...)

Awful, and sadly not remotely shocking.

What a wee darling.

Apparently the ddog presented with a prolapse. Really dumping it was the best thing for the ddog. 1 litter is better than lots of litters - which was what most likely would have happened.. Utter bastards..

@Ylvamoon yes a prolapse so quite treatable. I had no idea frenchies could not give birth naturally - this is horrendous - thry should be outlawed
This is the charity we got our dog from so i did donate as i can vouch for their work but very difficult with so many unwanted dogs
