Our dog died

Our dog died yesterday, it was sudden, he just turned 5.

I’m heartbroken.

I feel your pain. Our 13 year old black lab went over the rainbow bridge 3.5 years ago.

Sorry to hear that. Some will say only a dog, they don't get that they become part of the family so quickly.

Sending you love and sympathy. As a fellow dog owner I can understand this pain.

We don't ever get our pets for long enough but someone said to me once that they are just on loan to us to teach us unconditional love.

I'm so sorry too.. I think it's the shock more than anything else isn't it ? All I can say is that your doggie had a lovely life with you.

I have had pets all my life and the end whatever form it takes is hard and final and horrible. It never gets any easier when you love them so much

what was his name?

Ours had to be put to sleep on the 23rd. No idea she was even ill upto this. I'm left wondering whether she could have been treated but she'd of needed specialist operations over Xmas miles away from us.
