Fleas but no sign on the animals?

Both my dog and cat are up to date with treatments (vet prescibed..Bravecto for dog, Advantage on cat) and no sign of any little livestock on either.
However both me and dh have had a couple of suspicious bites recently which many years of animal owning makes me suspect fleas.

Dog does scratch quite often..in the summer it's usually allergies , in the winter Ithink it;s partly the central heating (she's double coated) and sometimes if she's had chicken. I cannot find a single flea on her.

I presume we could have some fleas in the carpet/ sofa but the animals aren't affected because they are up to date with treatment? I don't like using tons of chemicals but would you suggest I indorex all the soft furnishings in case?!

I'd indorex if I were you. We have 4 dogs and one cat. All up to date with their treatments. Our double coated rescue is scratching but that is because her coat is blowing. She had a thorough groom 3 weeks ago and was carefully checked.

How did you fair in the summer? We had fleas despite all the usual precautions. Apparently, this was a bad year. Do you have adult children who have come home? It may be lots of warm bodies, central heating and lots of movement has set them jumping. So I'd indorex the house.
