How much do you tip your dog walker? We have one who takes our dog out 2/3 times a week and she is just wonderful so we would like to show our appreciation, but I'm not sure what we should be tipping. Thanks!

I would just get her a little Christmas present to show appreciation.

I do a week's wages in cash in a Christmas card for all our various helpers, dog walker included.

I'm a dog walker and have never received a financial tip.

This year I got a handmade scarf, a bottle of Baileys, a bottle of Prosecco, lots of boxes of chocolates/truffles and a lovely decoration for the tree! Average value probably around £10/15.

I won't say what I am giving this year as I am pretty identifiable with my dogs antics and ailments so if they are on here I don't want to spoil the surprise.

But in the past Amazon vouchers, a personalised mug and wine.

Last year, I gave mine chocolates and a book I knew she'd enjoy. I used to let her choose from any books I was sending to charity and had recently read something similar to the books she chose so got her a copy.

She gave all her clients a bottle of wine, each was totally unexpected and generous.

£20 M&S voucher as she lives near the local food Hall. Ideally would give £30 as that's our weekly spend but I'm on mat leave

Sorry no help, I need ideas too! She only takes him once a week so £12 which I can't really put in a card! £20 seems a lot but a tenner feels a bit cheap. I've got a little dog treat stocking for her dog from ours but I don't really know her very well to get a gift. It's actually stressing me out a bit 😄
