Randomly as an experienced chihuahua owner is there a knack to house training them? I know several adorable chihuahuas personality and recall etc wise who are not fully house trained. As adult dogs I mean.

I have two who are very well house trained….unless it’s the middle of the night and no one is awake and then they will wee anyway.

But most of the time they will ask to go out. Yesterday, my big girl held it and held it until she eventually asked to go out. I have never seen a little dog pee so much

I adopted a pug puppy from breed rescue.

How do you know she hasn't? Chihuahuas do end up in rescues, pregnant ones too.

I bought this time but ive adopted other dogs before not that I have to explain myself.
