My new pup is home not eaten yet

We haven't been home long when should I expect her to be eating by? It's 5 yrs since I've had a pup and worrying about everything

She may be too excited at her new surroundings to eat for a while. Also, if you drove her home, she might be travel-sick (they usually grow out of this fairly quickly). Take the food away, wait until she's had time to explore and sniff round and offer it again. I wouldn't be worried at this stage. Make sure water is available in the meantime.

What times did the breeder feed them?
We did 8am, 12,4,8pm with our pup

I wouldn't expect her to eat much at all for a good few hours - she'll be very overwhelmed and a mixture of excited and scared too.

What times was she fed at the breeders? Are you using the same food and type of bowl etc?

It will take her a while to settle enough to eat. How is her behaviour otherwise?

She got fed around 8.Breeder doing 8,1,6 we picked up at 11.Sheshas a little sniff but just wants to nap

She'll be very overwhelmed and probably quite scared. Have you tried hand-feeding her or maybe warming the food up?

Yes she just sniffs and walks off

Totally normal. Ours did this. Whatever you do do not offer her a buffet array in an effort to get her to eat. Bit of boiled chicken maybe but just leave her to it and she will eat when she has come round.

Being away from her litter is usually quite overwhelming for a puppy.it is a big change for her.And it is a big event for you too.Iam sure all will be fine and your pup will soon gobble down her food and be happy to have landed in a loving new home

She slept through in her crate downstairs and she's done her first poo and ate and drank 😃
