Vet in Tignes, France

To anyone who has gone to Tignes or the surrounding area on holiday and taken their dog: In order to get them the tapeworm treatment that is required for re-entry into the UK, did you make an appointment with a local vet prior to your holiday, or did you just sort out an appointment a couple of days before needing it? I have ear-marked 2 vets already who, according to the reviews, both offer this service, I just don't know how much in advance we need to organise this.
We're going in the February half term.
Many thanks for any help.

I used to live in Bourg St Maurice, there is a good vet more or less opposite Lidl on the main road through the town. I'd book a few weeks in advance just to be on the safe side.

Hi! This is one of the two on my list! Do they speak English in there?

Yes a little. Might be easier to send an email to get things set up and then confirm by phone a few days before.

Good idea, thank you.

We took our dog to Tignes a couple of years ago and used the vet in Bourg

I’ll look up the address but it was halfway down a hill with a small car park at the front

They spoke excellent English but I had emailed a few weeks beforehand to book the appointment

This is the one we used…

It’s about 30 mins from Tignes, easy to park outside, and took about 5 mins to do the tablet

Brilliant, thank you!
