Christmas jumpers for dogs

Anyone seen any amazing Christmas jumpers for dogs this year?

I don't normally dress my dog up, but he's coming into my volunteer job at a care home with me for a Christmas event, so I'd like to make the effort!

Thanks everyone

It depends on your dogs size. At 35kg I am struggling. Even big girls want to look festive! I've ended up with a bandana.
B&M had loads in for smaller sizes but even the XL was teeny 😭

What breed/size?

We got a cute Christmas pudding one from Pets at Home a few years ago but he's grown out of it now Sad

A bandana sounds like a really good idea.

If the care home is like my Mums it is sub tropical and we all end up wearing our summer clothes regardless of the season.

Would your dog be too hot in a coat? I bet the residents love his visits Smile

I think he may be too hot as well. My Grandma’s care home was suffocatingly hot all year round.

How about a festive themed collar or harness, a bow tie or one of the felt collar accessories like, holly and berries or poinsettia? There’s lots of choice on Etsy.

Sorry, I forgot the detail that we will be outside the care home (I've organised a Carol concert/sing-a-long - we are all standing outside in the courtyard with the windows open so the residents can hear us).

So please don't worry about the details /logistics - that's all sorted!

I just need outfit retailers ideas please - my dog is about 8/9kgs a cockerpoo shape - fairly long and skinny.

(She's not actually a cockerpoo - she's a genuine rescue from a charity , a stray of unknown parentage.)

We got our 7.5kg dog a medium size one from pets at home.

yourfavouritemuggle · 04/12/2021 16:31

We bought an Aldi for our dog last week, was £4. She's about cockerpoo size but weighs 17kg and we got her a large if that helps. X

Thanks I'll try Pets at Home and Aldi.
