We have waited 20 years to get a pup until we had the right circumstance house and work wise. We applied for a perfect little rescue pup last week and had a meeting on Saturday. She was perfect. We are on a shortlist of 3 potential adopters.
They said if the decision was easy we'd hear by Sunday. It's Monday evening now and still waiting to hear. I'm not sure if no news is good news or they have selected and doing final checks before they turn us down.
