Good dog beds?

Is there such a thing?!

Every time I buy one it is great for about a month then slowly the filling seems to disappear into the unknown leaving the bottom not very padded at all!

I wash the bedding about once a week. It is for a 4 year old chihuahua. Can’t have fur on it or it will become his new girlfriend 😬

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

By fur do you count velour? I have a fabulous bed I bought from Amazon it's pristine after couple of years I'll link if velour is any good

HiK9 beds, or Orvis beds, have been hits here.

Tuffies. Nothing else comes close, it's like the Rolls Royce of dog beds. Our 2 spaniels have had theirs for 3 years and they're as good as the day we bought them.

Our little dog loves his cuddler or calming bed.

Sorry posted too soon. The cuddler bed is very fluffy and sift. He rests his head on the edge. I got it on Amazon.

Tuffies. They last for years, the mattresses can be hoses down and the covers are washable. 100% recommend.

Our spoilt madam has two tuffies beds. They are beautiful and not cheap. They were bought because she destroyed cheaper but perfectly nice cosy beds.

Anyway, she doesn't like the gorgeous tuffies beds. Turns out she doesn't like dog furniture.

She likes cushions and throws and pillows.

So, my best advice is check out what your dog really likes before you go spending lots of money.

Knufflewuff, we've had ours for about 8 years. Fleece topper can be machine washed

George Barclay make lovely dog beds. Very similar to Orvis but much cheaper and very well made.

We have tuffies too . Expensive but we won't need to buy any other bed now

Second hand cot mattresses!!! Best I have ever had for mine. Big enough for dogs to stretch out on/ multiple dogs. Easy to wash (mattress protector & sheets) easy and cheap to replace covers when needed.
Got all of mine for free too as no market for second hand cot mattresses!

Our 8 year old labrador has had an orvis memory foam bed for 6 years and it is as good as new. It is just the basic rectangular slab one.

I have been through so many beds for my ddog! He's an old man now and we bought this a few months ago - it's AMAZING he looks so comfortable and it hasn't sagged in the slightest.

We have a cot mattress for our Lurcher, with a waterproof cover and a dog bed cover over the top, with a duvet for extra comfort. But he prefers the sofa! He doesn’t even get up to see who is at the door since the sofa was made available to him (he was banned for a little while whilst he was a completely loopy puppy/adolescent).
For a dog as small as a Chi, I would probably just provide a comfy cushion/pillow, easy to buy new covers, match to decor and wash everything!
