Comfort toy

Am about to get a rescue dog in a few weeks and was wondering what people could recommend me to buy for her soft cuddly toy.
I haven't actually owned a dog before although have had plenty of experience. Where will I actually put the toy for her? Her bed , her crate, her toy box? I know this might sound a really trivial question incidentally!

Our ddog loved a fake duck!! The only toy she didn't destroy.

I go to charity shops and buy soft teddies for my dog.
As long as it’s fluff not beans inside.

Put it in her bed/crate and I’m sure she will love it where she wants. You’ll probably end up with more than one anyway.
