On Saturday night, my dog was making a retching type cough throughout the night - about 6 times. The next day, although he coughed a few more times, he seemed his normal bouncy self and was eating well.
Since then the cough has almost disappeared. It just sounds like a slight rattle in his chest every now and then. I have booked a vet appointment for tonight.
Kennel cough or something else? He's not had kennel cough before so I'm not sure what it really sounds like.
I'm about to do the school run so won't be able to post for the next hour.
