Ew fleas!

I've just found a flea on my rescue dog ... Yuk! He's my first dog and only had him a few weeks ago haven't had to think about this. What's the best flea treatment? Also got an indoor cat so she's going to need treating too. I usually use frontline on her but as she doesn't go out i hardly ever treat her.

Indorex for the house. We use Milbemax and Bravecto from the vet for worms and fleas (can never remember which is which tbh). Seem to work well (they're tablets). Lots of people say that Frontline is rubbish and a waste of time and money so I don't use it. I have used Advocate and Advantage spot on treatment which also worked well. First dog had fleas and we used Indorex and Advocate/Advantage to clear. Current dog has Milbemax and Bravecto and has not had them yet!

Oh and hoover lots and wash bedding etc more than usual while you get rid! Good luck - it's not fun. We get our tablets on a monthly subscription plan from the vet because I don't want to go through that again!

Frontline plus kills live fleas and stops new ones hatching so I'd say you need the plus We had to buy a spray for the house. Went all among the skirting boards with it and the dog and curtains a low level. We were only a month late and we got them so we make sure we do it monthly on the dot now and no further problems

Agree.Frontline is useless.Advocate also worms your dog.its a tablet for all the nasty little bugs and wiggly worms

Really. Why is my vet giving me frontline and how is my dog not getting any more fess !!

Milbemax for worms, bravecto for fleas. Our dogs been on these for the past 6 years (got him aged 3 years from dogs trust). Never seen a worm or a flea.
