Teeth cleaning

Few weeks into new greyhound ownership and I'm working up to teeth cleaning!

Do I need the finger brushes? Will she know it's my finger under there ? (She's a chewer!). Or just a normal toothbrush ? Or try her with my electric? (Obvs with her own head!) Already putting plaque x in her food .

I've started on some puppy friendly natural chews to make sure she's ok with them (puffed chicken feet etc), but I have an ostrich bone here as well - that ok to give for a bit every week now she seems ok with the other stuff ? I was worried she'd inhale the chews like her wet food but she seems ok!

Any tips for first teeth clean attempt would be very gratefully received Grin

I like for a comprehensive guide on getting dogs used to tooth brushing.

Our pup is now 2 and half and still find teeth cleaning hard. I did all the guidance from that video, spent weeks and weeks trying to get him used to it, the problem is he loves the toothpaste too much and is just endlessly trying to lick it rather than let me clean!
I used a standard adult medium tooth brush, he chewed the puppy one to pieces in seconds, he's only a little Cavalier!

I never use toothpaste (because of the licky problem). I use a small, human, soft toothbrush every day.

Latest report from the vet is that his teeth are beautiful so I guess it's doing the job...
