I have just put in an application for a 3 legged dog, can anybody give me any tips? I’ve done a fair bit of Googling and know that I should keep her away from water, shorter more frequent walks, not too many : or any stairs,insurance doesn’t seem anymore expensive? Not let her get overweight, is there anything else I should be aware of? Will she be able to open the dog door do you think? It’s her front leg.
She manages very well without it and can run, jump etc very agile, medium size, 18 months ish, been told she doesn’t realise she hasn’t got it😁 would be very grateful for any advice please. Can’t had a photo because she not mine ( yet) . Thank you
